A random Journal Entry here, but oh well I thought I would share something, that I think, may have just given me some inspiration.

My Brother has just given me a book on a one W Eugene Smith, some people will probably know him, he is quite famous in the photographic world, I don't really know a lot about him but have definitely heard the name.

This book is actually amazing, his photos were astounding, the attention to detail and his eye for photography and subjects are amazing, he is renowned for being a World War II photographer and some of his work is fantastic. Some of them capture the, unbelievably, a good ambience between the soldiers.

The shades and gradients used in the photos are amazing and I am literally astounded, I love him! I think I have some ideas beginning to brew in my head so I am incredibly happy now. I also have never appreciated Black and White so much, the way he uses it, is amazing.

If you haven't seen any of his work Google it, definitely, it's brilliant!
